Product Details
Ferulic Acid Powder, a natural plant material from nature, is White to off-white odorless crystalline powder, which refined from ferulic acid ester (oryzanol) by hydrolysis process. Its chemical name is 4-hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamic acid,soluble in hot water, ethanol, and ethyl acetate, not soluble in benzene or petroleum ether.
It is one of the derivatives of cinnamic acid, wich can scavenge free radicals, promote the production of free radical scavenging enzymes, increase the activity of glutathione transsulfurase and quinone reductase, and inhibit the activity of tyrosinase to regulate human physiological functions. So now it had been widely used in natural flavors, medicine, health products, cosmetic raw materials and food additives.
